VIP Birthday Fireworks

We were honoured this weekend just gone to be asked to perform a display for Mark Getty (KBE), the son of American-British billionaire philanthropist Sir John Paul Getty. It was to celebrate his birthday, where he was celebrating with his family and a select guest list at his stunning home, the fabulous Wormsley Park Estate. It was a last minute request, and obviously we had to pull out all the stops to get this ready in time. We only had a small window of opportunity and an even smaller crew to setup the display whilst the party was in full swing, and with literally seconds to spare we fired a fantastic choreographed display to Tchaikovsky - Eugene Onegin (Polonaise) which was recently enjoyed by Mark Getty when performed by the Garsington Opera who are also based also at the Getty’s home estate. And whilst it was nice and relaxed earlier on in the day sharing 3,000 acres with Imperial Stags, Deer, Red Kites and other beautiful wildlife, a massive thanks has to go to our crew (including Paul and Mark from Event Staging) for their invaluable help and hard work pulling this together at the last minute………….
